We are seeking an experienced and personable Private Chef to join a professional football family in Knutsford, Cheshire. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in international cuisine and be comfortable preparing meals for both adults and children. This role requires flexibility in scheduling, with responsibilities including lunch and dinner preparations, as well as some travel during the summer months.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook a variety of meals, focusing on international cuisine.
  • Create family-friendly menus that cater to both adults and children.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with the family to accommodate any dietary restrictions or preferences.
  • Provide meal service for lunch and dinner, and assist with any special events or occasions.
  • Participate in summer travel, ensuring that meals are prepared and available during trips.
  • Work closely with the family to foster a relaxed and enjoyable dining atmosphere.

Qualifications

  • Formal culinary training from a reputable institution (e.g., Cord, Bleu, or Leith).
  • Proven experience as a private chef, preferably with a background in chalets or holiday villas.
  • Strong knowledge of international cuisines and dietary practices.
  • Experience cooking for families, particularly with children.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to adapt to the family’s preferences and lifestyle.
  • Friendly and laid-back personality, able to integrate seamlessly with the family dynamic.

Requirements

  • Flexibility to work 3 to 5 days per week, including evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Willingness to travel during the summer months.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.

Salary: £60,000 – £65,000 per annum
